We may use dental ceramics, such as stunning porcelain, to make cosmetic fillings and dental crowns.  

We apply these same principles when rebuilding the entire tooth – not just a portion of it. Options such as replacement teeth supported by dental implants positioned in the jaw are designed like natural teeth. The implant is placed and stabilized in the jawbone to replace a tooth root. Once connected to the implant, the tooth is literally “rooted” in the jaw for superior, natural form and function.  

The above options blend both cosmetic and restorative dentistry. The following options are designed to address cosmetic imperfections:  

• Professional teeth whitening – Your smile is a central feature of your face, and the color of your teeth is a prominent feature of your smile. When teeth are lightened quickly with chairside “power” whitening or gradually with home whitening, your smile and overall facial appearance gets a big, eye-catching boost. All methods available at our office are safe, comfortable, effective, and long-lasting. 
• Porcelain veneers – Arguably the most coveted of cosmetic dental services, these thin layers of natural-looking, stain-resistant, and strong porcelain may be applied skillfully by Dr. Davoud to the front surfaces of the teeth. He disguises a range of imperfections, from chips and gaps to irregularly-shaped and irregularly-sized teeth. 
• Laser gum contouring – Your gums serve both a protective function as well as an important cosmetic function. They “frame” the teeth, and their appearance can either help or hinder the overall proportions and aesthetics of your smile. When patients have an overly “gummy” smile, their teeth may appear dwarfed by these soft tissues. Fortunately, Dr. Davoud can gently, precisely, and painlessly reshape the gums with soft tissue laser technology. He can use laser dentistry to expose more of the tooth. So, the gums are well-proportioned when compared to the rest of the smile. 
• Invisalign® cosmetic teeth straightening – Invisalign® presents another one of those procedures that blend both functional and aesthetic benefits. Dr. Davoud is a certified provider of this discreet and removable alternative to conventional fixed metal braces. This system uses a series of BPA-free, smooth, and transparent thermoplastic aligner trays to reposition the teeth incrementally. The aligners are not visible when you smile and can be removed for comfortable eating and effective brushing and flossing. Invisalign® may be appropriate to correct both minor misalignment and some cases of malocclusion or “bad bite.”
