Dr. Davoud has received well beyond the standard education of dental school, placing him in a group of only a small percentage of dentists worldwide in terms of advanced training. He is a Board-certified naturopathic physician (BCNP) and is also Board-certified in integrative biological dental medicine. Dr. Davoud’s combination of artistry and technical ability allows him to provide the most conservative, personalized care tailored to each patient, with a strong focus on whole-body health and long-term outcomes.
Continuing his commitment to advanced education, Dr. Davoud recently completed a Maxi Residency in Biological Dentistry, Biological Surgery, and Implantology based on Guided Open Wound Healing (GOWH) at Tufts Dental School in Boston in 2025. This intensive training was conducted by internationally recognized expert Prof. Dr. Shahram Ghanaati and focused on biologically driven surgical techniques that support natural healing and improve patient outcomes. Following this program, Dr. Davoud enrolled in the International Curriculum, where he continues to collaborate with Prof. Ghanaati and Frankfurt University in Germany to remain at the forefront of modern biological dentistry.
This advanced training has earned Dr. Davoud’s office a rare distinction. His practice is one of only nine offices internationally, and the only office in the Western United States, certified in the Ghanaati GOWH and ARENA Protocol, reflecting a high level of expertise in biological surgical care and implantology.
Before attending the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000, Dr. Davoud attended Cal State University, Stanislaus. Advanced training also includes curriculum 1-7 at Occlusion Connections, a course focused on neuromuscular dentistry and orthopedic occlusal advancement. This field of study has provided Dr. Davoud with the insight necessary to promote harmony throughout each patient’s bite.
Dr. Davoud has also received training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the United States Dental Institute, two of the top institutions for continuing education. These courses have refined his skills in orthodontics, TMJ therapy, dental implants, bone grafting, ozone therapy, and advanced surgical techniques, all of which complement his commitment to personalized patient experiences.
Dr. Davoud enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys. He also loves to travel, cycle, and run.
