Patient shares experience after removing infected tooth number 30 — relief from chronic pain, swelling, migraines, and improved overall health within days.
Hello. I was asked if I'd be willing to give a video testimonial about my experiences with a recent, uh, root canal extraction. So I had the tooth removed. It was tooth number 30, which I'm told is a pretty common one that if folks are gonna have a root canal, it's gonna be one of those. So it's your bottom right. Um, a second tooth in. And, one of the reasons that I had it done is I had done a lot of research after multiple miscarriages about, um, just kind of out-of-the-box thinking about potential causes. And one of the things that came up was root canal, um, recommendations of having that root canal tooth removed. And so I came in originally looking for that. There wasn't any evidence of infection or anything, but what I learned is that there was a lot of other symptoms that could be correlated. And so looking back, I used to experience what are called trigeminal migraines, which is where you have like a three. So you have one, two, and three, and it just feels like that part of your face is in like a vice grip, and it's excruciatingly painful. Um, I would vomit it from it. I would lose vision in my eye from it. And I experienced the first one in 2013, and I experienced several a month for the next 10 plus years. Um, I first had this tube worked on, it was a cavity, um, in probably about 2016. It eventually became a crown in 2018. It was still problematic. It was never really feeling correct. It still caused pain. And then the week of COVID being announced, um, my dentist at a different practice offered to redo the crown or recommended a root canal. And with COVID being announced, he said I would go with the root canal. We just don't know when you're gonna get back in. Did the root canal, never had pain-free relief. Always had a problem with it. I was always told you can't be feeling anything if there's a root canal. There's no root, but had terrible pain. Um, I had a lot of swelling on the right side of my neck. Was told potential thyroid issues. They did imaging and meth came back, but I had a golf ball size lump in my esophagus here in my throat, that you could see from the outside that was there for years. It was just a swollen lymph node. They could never figure out what was going on. Um, and so ultimately I came in, had that root canal extracted in June of 25. Within 48 hours, the swelling was gone. It hasn't returned, and it's been eight, nine months. Um, had not experienced another trigeminal migraine, uh, and also don't have carpal tunnel. I had a lot of pinching up and down the right side and had developed carpal tunnel, and that's been gone as well.
